I am blessed with many things. But technical problems is probably not one of them.
I am likely to face yet another huge loss. About 6-8 hours of recent editing work.
I have been trying to edit a significant additional portion of upcoming Buffer Foods video – on a separate FCPX project. All has been going smoothly despite my NVME yet playing up again, perhaps dejavu from my last nightmare episode – where an entire 1 terabyte was at stake for corruption.
All. has been somewhat stable. Until today. Hence, forwarding my apologies here.
Trying to open the specific project / timeline? Instant crash. Trying to salvage the FCPX XML on the specifically corrupted project / timeline? Instant Crash. Reset preference? Instant crash. Any previous automatic backup? unfortunately none was available since this specific separate project / timeline production began.
I have less than an ounce of faith on Apple if they ever read these technical reports; each and every time should their application crashes irrespective on the first or a millionth time.
But I wonder, if they actually do – I am happy to be mistaken.
I am attaching the crash report below. If anyone can make sense of it all that is. <<< I’ve changed my mind – for interests of privacy I would not share the crash report as it is over 35 pages+ long.
First world problems here, I’d wager.
But having lost 6-8 hours of personal work ~ is not exactly redeemable on a supposedly resting weekend.
Live-It-Forward,
AW.
