Hence timely readership is well appreciated.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>This is an archived post which may or may not have undergone further editing for readership accessibility.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No, this article is not a repeat viral sharing of the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.i-nhs.com\/inhs\/diet3.html\">\u00a0surrounding dangers of veganism.<\/a> Neither it is about alarmism on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindbodygreen.com\/0-13672\/why-fake-meats-are-hurting-your-health.html\">gluten-fuelled mock meats<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livescience.com\/16779-soylent-green-real-life-cannibalism.html\">Soylent Green<\/a>.\u00a0<span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"6e2r4-0-0\">Likewise this isn't about a counter response to\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"6e2r4-4-0\">numerous viral campaigns<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"6e2r4-5-0\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-offset-key=\"2dm6s-0-0\">Eg.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BYzlfPdpAeY\"><span data-offset-key=\"2dm6s-1-0\">Vegan 2015<\/span><\/a><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"2dm6s-2-0\">\/ <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=scsfO9BcB-w\"><span data-offset-key=\"2dm6s-3-0\">Vegan 2016<\/span><\/a><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"2dm6s-4-0\">\/ <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IxVR53xemSs\"><span data-offset-key=\"2dm6s-5-0\">Vegan 2017<\/span><\/a><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"2dm6s-6-0\">\/ Vegan 2018, then 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022. So on and so forth to infinity.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"6e2r4-0-0\">\n<p><strong>Here in this first piece of three - I present my argument <em>against<\/em> vegetarianism.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Ideal Diet | Dave Asprey, Kip Andersen &amp; Dr. Joel Kahn | Talks at Google\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/o5N-qPEnThs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h1>1\/5<\/h1>\n<h3>\"Us\" against \"you\" \/ statistical persuasion.<\/h3>\n<p>Watch the above \"debate\".<span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"ffivs-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Thought patterns commonly shared amidst vegetarianism seems <em><strong>morally<\/strong> <\/em>fixated as : \"<em>It's not \"us\" or \"our's\" fault to blame for any persisting frictions between contrasting conviction\/s.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\"...but it's the individuals' \"me\" or \"you\" - who seemingly remains as the <strong>remaining<\/strong> \"problem\".<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Compelling just one person is not enough. Changing another person's life and another and another ~ seems more compelling and satisfying. Because it's more statistically persuasive. What enough means no longer defined as self-contained. Am I supposed to feel \"morally\" uplifted? Liberated?<\/p><\/div>\n<h1>2\/5<\/h1>\n<h3>A supposed Utopia with good intent. Nevermind its logistic.<\/h3>\n<p>Vegetarianism now on its own ~ carries a political 'ism'. We already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2016\/07\/turin-vegetarian-city-should-we-all-follow-suit\/\">have a city fully politicised by veganism<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldometers.info\/world-population\/\">We're nearing 7.75 billion.<\/a> Yes, nearing figure eight - billion citizens. <span data-offset-key=\"a8cfn-0-0\">Suppose now we've approached a breaking point. Climate Change hysteria and all. <\/span>Suppose we now take drastic measures. \"Re\"-built, \"Re\" coordinate\u00a0 an entire city, country or perhaps continent ~ towards virtuous intent we shall label (conceptually for now) as <strong>\"Cruelty Free Charter\".<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"a8cfn-0-0\">Sooner or later - morality becomes a legislation. <\/span><span data-offset-key=\"a8cfn-0-0\">Imagine individual's access and rights to living are bound by these new law\/s. Confounded and Structured by <\/span><span class=\"adverb\"><span data-offset-key=\"a8cfn-1-0\">simply<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"a8cfn-2-0\"> - their way and belief of <em><strong>eating<\/strong><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>What if \"good\" intent is met with impractical <strong><em>needs<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0<em>reality? This is where sadly <\/em>- rainbow feel good colours ~ meet shades of grey. Just to name a few concerns:<\/p>\n<div data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"a04r5\" data-offset-key=\"4gf62-0-0\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"4gf62-0-0\"><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"4gf62-0-0\">If a vegetarian wishes to invest in a property he\/she <\/span><\/span><span class=\"complexword\"><span data-offset-key=\"4gf62-1-0\">shall<\/span><\/span><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"4gf62-2-0\"> not invest in a home or property\u00a0<\/span><span data-offset-key=\"4gf62-2-1\">if their building aren't <strong>sanctified<\/strong> or \"<strong>blessed<\/strong>\"<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"4gf62-3-0\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-offset-key=\"4gf62-3-1\">Unless approved by <em>vegetarian<\/em> builder-society,<\/span><span data-offset-key=\"4gf62-3-2\"> or\u00a0 approved within this \"<strong>Cruelty-Free\"-Charter<\/strong>. <em>Chopping wood is arguably \"destructive\" and \"disruptive\" to the environment. What happens (or shall happen) to UNESCO heritage sites; or places of historic significance? Long before \"eco-friendly\" materials infrastructures are constructed out of such \"natural\" derived materials anyway? Should that be counted as blasphemy?\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"4gf62-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"4gf62-3-3\">If meat eaters file an insurance repair claim he\/she is likely denied. Especially if events within any claim of damage involve factual harming of \"animal\" related species. <em>I wonder if accidental roadkills off a truck driver; whose job is to deliver resources for millions ~ beyond his control, reaction \"timing capacity\" and or \"intent\"?\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"4gf62-3-3\">...There may yet be more. Unless forever subject as lifelong sacrifices to everyone (and every\"thing\" else).<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">Everything - involves \"Death\" for the sustenance for something else.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">The grass the cow eats were in just as much pain as the prey being overwhelmed by the lion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We seem emotionally helpless and subscribed ~ at keeping everything \"alive\" for as long as possible.\u00a0However, \"Death\" ~ is a touchy subject.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who or what shall be deemed more \"valuable\" to replace than our own individual \"life\"? Who or what is worth more \"dying\" for? Who shall be that decision maker?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Suppose we have the capacity to build (via automation) \"Homes\" for placing both flora and fauna on a protective pedestal. Call it the Noah's Ark. A shelter for all beings. All creatures big and small.<\/p>\n<p>Include us humans, too.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>At first, this is virtuous nobility indeed. I am in\"<strong>deed\"<\/strong> sold. Yet somehow ~ I also feel guilty and remorseful at the same time to have been granted \"life\" in the first place.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Why? Because sooner or later my own life depends on consumption of another living being, be it grass or a vegetable which that in itself is also food - for the animal. Hence my identity is already (involuntarily) labelled as another <em>perpetrator <\/em>to the ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Yet the moral allures of saving <strong>every-single-thing;<\/strong> remains an undying gospel of vegetarianism. Deconstruct it. Explore every one of its connected definitions. See how closely it relates to \"Time\".<\/p>\n<div data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"a04r5\" data-offset-key=\"8bjmc-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"8bjmc-0-0\">The concept of \"Time\" itself after all - is what\u00a0<\/span><span data-offset-key=\"8bjmc-0-1\">\"Predates\"<\/span><span data-offset-key=\"8bjmc-0-2\">one thing before - everything else to their current manifestation. As discussed prior in Ecological Martyrdom - all of \"life\" are obligatory Predators. No exceptions. <\/span><\/div>\n<p>Were we to ask what Nature thinks of this? The best \"answer\" we get - is silence. That silence is \"Time\". There is no one answer then it seems, instead of us making the best of what Time we have left there is to <strong>pre-date our existential rationality. This requires consumption of another \"being\".\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 1839px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tepp5g.dm.files.1drv.com\/y4mLQ8X9G6N8dm20rHPZB3DaDB2etnsJIHj4HniV_ReKwSegYdeUblKoEpe9HY4IQ_yLn19g4HBrrVx6io_AED3rW9HBqJkvA6Gs6JcHiC4GxfwAcvNTYwfNuym7Uk63TQHMkCKS0j9LzJWCN1yi9464MgXI386C6A-adCn4vNet3kJ8btNyu9tB8Ui8fyaz0llMQUzXnxhpxCK3g7ocHJyJA?width=1829&amp;height=1029&amp;cropmode=none\" alt=\"\" width=\"1829\" height=\"1029\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tj Hollowaychuk \/ unsplash.com<\/p><\/div>\n<h1>5\/5<\/h1>\n<h3>Voluntarily or involuntarily, Veganism - assumes all lifeforms are equally harmless.<\/h3>\n<div data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"a04r5\" data-offset-key=\"3kbps-0-0\">\n<p class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"3kbps-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"3kbps-0-0\">....Yet some are perhaps less harmless than others.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>What about plants \"who\" (note; I can't use \"that\" or \"which\" because they supposedly are \"living beings\") are by their inherent nature - <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unmuseum.org\/maneatp.htm\">carnivorous and extremely deadly to organic beings?<\/a>\u00a0Aren't they sentient too?<\/p>\n<p>Consider the\u00a0 forces of nature. Do they possess any \"Morality\", or do they recognise or honour semantic expression of \"<strong>Compassion<\/strong>\"?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Natural disasters, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>meteor strikes, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>solar flares, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>earthquakes, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>tectonic plates movements, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>volcanoes, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>thunderstorms.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Cycles between day or night. Moments of cellular oxidations, growth, decline and decomposition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Hint: it doesn't. If it did (or if \"God\" exist) - surely nature's prime directive is to protect all of life.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>What if we are facing a lion? A Great White Shark? Or a Vulture? Humans have long survived to this day by way of both <strong>defence<\/strong> and <strong>offence<\/strong> to Nature. <strong>If survival is at stake, self-preservation becomes priority<\/strong>. It'd be the more wiser - for us to run for our <strong>own<\/strong> lives. Actually reword that to \"run our own\" lives.<\/p>\n<p>People say we eat things because they are rewarding. This of course threads a fine trigger to yet another debate. But suffice to say there are anti-nutrients in plants that one day - oxalates will turn to kidney stones and wreak havoc.\u00a0 Now compare this to killing an animal that may otherwise kill us. At least from killing the animal we get the reward for:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><em>We are alive.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>We continue to be alive. Long after considering the food we eat - are the direct result from our self-defence against nature's own dictatorship (eat or be eaten).<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Share and bring such a nutrient prize(s) back to community - the organs meats and muscle meats.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<h6><em>TLDR; Morality Subscription = Reality Compromises.
